Aging Gracefully

"Oh my ... Look at that poor old man; he's all bent over and can hardly walk.  Put me out of my misery if I ever get like that."

At least once in our lives, most of us have heard that comment; some of us may have even said it ourselves.

Would we feel the same way if the person was old and not visibly disabled? 

What is it that determines whether or not someone is "Aging Gracefully?" 

Is it not our own personal perception
