Ageism

Stop Ageism
In 1969, Gerontologist Robert N. Butler coined the term "Ageism," to describe discrimination specifically faced by older adults.

Over the years, the term has become more inclusive.  In a nutshell, today, ageism is defined as discrimination against someone, based on their age, regardless of their age; this is what we refer to as the "Double Edge Sword of Ageism."
